This area of our site is dedicated to bringing you relevant short news stories from all over the world. It is intended to be both supplementary and complementary to our quarterly magazine PeaceNews which is published in London by PeaceNews Ltd.

Unlike the rather fantastic IndyMedia network, this service is provided by a limited company based in London (Peace News Ltd - a non-profit company primarily engaged in pacifist publishing) and has a fairly narrow focus. We aim to publish short news stories written by nonviolent activists and campaigners from around the world which meet our editorial objectives.

Please note that while we encourage everyone to share information, if you would like to directly reproduce stories, please credit Peace News and give our website address. If you would like to reproduce images, or would like to talk to the photographers, please contact them directly (email address usually present after caption).
