Worldwide: WRI focused on conscientious objection in Greece, with a successful street action held in Thessaloniki.

In a public leaflet, the activists - from ten countries - stated: "42 years after the assassination of peace and democracy activist Grigoris Lambrakis, Greece continues to oppress Conscientious Objectors. This violation of human rights is contrary to international law and completely ignores the recommendations of the European Parliament, United Nations and Council of Europe."
