Palestine: A British peace activist was shot in the head by Israeli troops while he was assisting injured people into ambulance after the troops sealed off and attacked Balata refugee camp in Palestine.
Ray Davies an activist from cnd Cymru was hit from the back by a rubber bullet, fell to the ground unconscious was taken to Hospital by a taxi. He sustained head injuries but was treated and discharged after five hours. Six other international observes took to the streets to safe guard the injured Palestine while they were being transported to hospital.
The conflict begun when Israeli army dumped tons of rubble at the refugee camp entrance then pounded the densely populated camp with gunfire; hundreds of Palestine children started throwing stones at the tanks and armored cars that surrounded the camp.
However the activist action prevented more casualties and loss of life in the refugee camp that has been threaten by demolition by Israeli troops as the paramedics continued to transported the injured to Hospitals.
