OAA has closed

    Organisationen til Oplysningom Atomkraft (OOA), the Danish antinukiller power organisation, disbanded as a grassroots activist organisation in May.
    The reason given is that they have succeeded in achieving their main aims: getting the Danish parliament to declare in 1985 that Denmark will not have any nuclear power plants; and getting the Swedish nuclear power plant at Barseba*ck closed.
        OOA is the organisation that created the "Smiling sun" Atomic Power - No Thanks symbol, and which has been translated into may languages and used worldwide.
