Campaign: Shark protection league
The Shark Protection League may be the ideal campaign for animal-rights activists who don't want to be accused of going cute. The League was launched last year, staging its first protest during the Shark Angling Festival in Looe, Cornwall, in September. But their next demo--in London's Chinatown on 6 May, against the trade in sharks' fins--seems to be a bit lacking in cultural sensitivity. Shark Protection League, BM LAPL, London WC1N 3XX.
