Campaign: BBC film on COs
When Men Refuse to Fight is the title of an Open Space programme on BBC-2 television, Friday 5 May at 8pm. Many of the Second World War COs who appear in the programme were connected to Peace News and the Peace Pledge Union. Some were total resisters; others tell of doing alternative service in the coal mines or as medical guinea pigs.
