Review: South Africa: lessons from Zimbabwe
Colin Stoneman South Africa: Lessons from Zimbabwe Catholic Institute for International Relations, £?: A brief and not very deep, but still quite interesting, essay on Zimbabwe's economic and social development since 1980, and the possible relevance of these experiences for the emerging democracy in South Africa. Stoneman's conclusions are cautious and limited, but this is probably just as well in view of the complexity of the subject.
